Morning Bro....I'm trying to get my Mojo going today. Classes start back up for me tomorrow and i'm still trying to figure out what i'm doing. Anyway, Happy New Year!!! Looks like you had a good time in Michigan.

I think the pithy saying at the end of that strip is in direct conflict with the actual moral of the story: Garfield can only get through today by denying its reality. Jon and Odie are gone, so he creates a fantasy world that includes them. Unfortunately, I'm just not that creative.
